In the spirit of the season of giving, the Vice President, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has make some donations in support to the Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital in the Central Region.
The support to the Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital was in light of the care and welfare of patients and frontline caregivers.
The donation, also led by Hon. Kakra Yalley on behalf of the Vice President formed part of an ongoing commitment to institutions that serve some of the most vulnerable members of society.
In a post the Vice President said , ” supporting facilities such as Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital is a necessary step toward reducing stigma and improving access to quality mental health services”.
She thanked all the staff, whom she described as ”dedicated health professionals and caregivers at the hospital for their selfless service, and I reaffirm our resolve to continue advocating for stronger mental health support systems across the country”, The Vice President noted.
