The Chief Justice shared his vision for strengthening the judiciary, the rule of law, and access to justice for all. The Ambassador was deeply impressed by the clarity of that vision and by the sense of statesmanship and constitutional responsibility it reflects.
They had a very fruitful discussion on how to further strengthen the rule of law and deepen cooperation between Ghana and Germany, learning from one another through judicial exchanges, capacity-building, and professional dialogue.
Germany is proud of its strong and long-standing relationship with Ghana’s judiciary. Over the years, several German delegations have engaged in constructive exchanges with members of the Supreme Court. Germany recognises the central role the judiciary plays in Ghana’s democracy, including the promotion of human rights, environmental protection, and the upholding of property rights. For investors and citizens alike, an independent and effective judiciary matters.
The Ambassador also expressed sincere thanks to Professor Raymond Atuguba for his support and for the valuable exchange.
