Fare thee well! Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley

Ghana’s former High Commissioner to India, Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley, has died. He died on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the age of 63. Ambassador Yalley served in various public and political roles, including as Chief Executive of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA).

Social media in Ghana is agog with outpouring of grief for the former Ambassador.

There have been messages with one from the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Honorable Sumana Bagbin which read.

”I learnt with pain the passing of my brother and friend, Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley, an astute statesman and respected member of our party, the National Democratic Congress
Ambassador Yalley was a champion of professionalism in politics and a key figure of the NDC’s Professionals Forum.
My deep condolences to everyone mourning the passing of this great man, particularly, members of his immediate family.
May he find a peaceful rest with God almighty!  Bagbin”.
