Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has congratulated Ghana’s Black Queens on their impressive qualification to the quarter-finals of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
She praised the team for showing determination, resilience and fighting spirit in their hard-fought encounter against Mali.
The Vice President said the achievement has once again demonstrated the strength and character of the Black Queens and given Ghanaians renewed hope as the team continues its campaign.
She has urged the players to maintain the same spirit, focus and unity as they prepare for Sunday’s crucial quarter-final encounter, with qualification for the FIFA Women’s World Cup now within reach.
Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang assured the team that the nation is proud of their achievement and will continue to rally behind them as they seek to go further in the competition and make Ghana proud.
