As part of the Multi-Donor Action “Strengthening the Rule of Law and the Fight Against Corruption in Ghana” —co-funded by the European Union in Ghana and the Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ), implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH through the PAIReD programme, a total of 200 printed copies of new Investigation Manuals.

Receiving the manuals, the Director-General of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), COP Lydia Yaako Donkor, noted that the resource will serve as both a training guide and a call to action for excellence in investigative practice.
EOCO’s Deputy Executive Director, Aba Jacqueline Opoku, who received the manuals during a separate presentation described the manual as a significant step toward more professional and accountable investigations, offering practical, step-by-step guidance to ensure consistent, high integrity work aligned with national and international best practices .
