The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has extended the deadline for the submission of entries for the 30th GJA Media Awards by one week.
The new deadline is Friday, September 25, 2026, replacing the earlier deadline of Friday, September 18, 2026, announced at a news conference on Thursday, September 3.
The GJA National Executive took the decision to give journalists whose 2025 membership applications have recently been vetted and approved additional time to participate in the awards.
The Association is therefore encouraging all members in good standing who are yet to submit their stories and other eligible works produced in 2025 to take advantage of the additional one-week window.
Eligible journalists are urged to submit their entries before the new deadline to ensure their works are considered for the 30th GJA Media Awards.
Entries can be submitted online through the GJA website.
