Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has officially closed the 14th Ghana Garden and Flower Show as the Special Bloom Guest, bringing to an end a vibrant celebration of greenery, creativity and enterprise under the theme, “Green Means Business, Beauty and More.”
Beyond the official closing ceremony, Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings took time to tour the exhibition and engage with vendors and exhibitors. She interacted with entrepreneurs, learned about their businesses and experiences, and purchased some of the flowers on display.
She said what particularly stood out was the enterprise behind the beauty, noting that the exhibition demonstrated the opportunities available within Ghana’s growing green economy.
From horticulture and landscaping to innovative green products and services, the Show highlighted the potential of the sector to create businesses, jobs and sustainable livelihoods while contributing to greener communities.
Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings expressed interest in exploring opportunities to collaborate with some of the vendors she encountered, particularly in finding practical ways to make homes, workplaces and other spaces greener.
She congratulated the organisers, exhibitors and vendors for successfully delivering the 14th edition of the Ghana Garden and Flower Show.
