Otumfuo Osei Tutu II marked the third Awukudae Festival of the year at the Manhyia Palace on April 8, 2026.
The occasion brought together Nananom, government officials, dignitaries, and members of royalty, who gathered to pay homage to the Asantehene and receive his blessings.
Notable attendees included the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie; the Ashanti Regional Minister, Frank Amoakohene; representatives from Ramseyer Presbyterian Church and the Seventh-day Adventist Church; renowned rapper Okyeame Kwame; and the Ashanti Regional Executives of the Ghana Journalists Association.
Also in attendance were the management of T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, executives of the Hollywood Africa Prestigious Awards, and a joint delegation from Arima Farms Ltd, the Crop Research Institute, and Asante Kingdom Development.
