The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts has named internationally acclaimed musician Wiyaala as Ghana’s Global Ambassador for Fugu during a colourful ceremony in Funsi, Upper West Region.

Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, praised Wiyaala for her long-standing dedication to promoting Ghanaian culture through music, fashion and performance, describing her as a symbol of hope, resilience and pride.
The Minister emphasized the importance of supporting made-in-Ghana products, noting that every thread woven into Fugu tells the story of Ghana’s identity and resilience while creating opportunities for weavers, designers and local entrepreneurs.
