Dr. Bryan Acheampong
Born in Suhum in 1972, Bryan Acheampong pursued higher education in the United States, earning both a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Johnson & Wales University.
He later expanded his expertise with a Master’s in Applied Intelligence from Georgetown University and a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Ghana.
Before stepping into politics, he served in the United States Air Force, where he earned honors including the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, an experience that would shape his leadership style and strategic thinking.
Today, he stands at the intersection of business and governance. As the driving force behind Rock City Hotel, Bryan Acheampong is leading one of Africa’s most ambitious hospitality developments, a phased mega-resort designed to host thousands, with plans for conference facilities, recreational parks, and world-class tourism infrastructure.
Often described as a project aiming to become Africa’s largest hotel, Rock City reflects more than luxury, it signals a bold bet on Ghana’s tourism and economic potential.
In public service, Bryan Acheampong has risen to become a Member of Parliament and Ghana’s Minister for Food and Agriculture, positioning himself as a key player in national development.
The story of Bryan Acheampong is a reminder that influence is rarely accidental and it is built at the intersection of preparation, global exposure, and the courage to think bigger than the present.
