Dr. Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings, Minister designate for Environment, Science and Technology, has appeared before Parliament’s Appointments Committee as part of the process for assessing her nomination to the ministry.
The vetting, which was being broadcast live, provides members of the committee with an opportunity to examine the minister designate’s qualifications, experience, competence and understanding of the responsibilities associated with the portfolio.
Dr. Agyeman Rawlings is expected to respond to questions from the committee on key issues within the environment, science and technology sectors, as well as outline her vision and priorities should Parliament approve her nomination.
