The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority, COCOBOD and the Cocoa Processing Company, has officially launched the 2026 National Chocolate Month at the Nationalism Park in Accra.

Under the theme “Eat Chocolate, Stay Healthy and Grow Ghana – Experience Ghana, Share the Cocoa Love,” the celebration encourages Ghanaians to consume locally produced chocolate to support farmers, create jobs and boost the economy, with activities including Chocolate in the Park, nationwide outreach programmes, educational tours and chocolate appreciation events.
The initiative also aligns with the Government’s Black Star Experience and 24-Hour Economy agenda, promoting tourism, youth engagement and value addition across Ghana’s cocoa value chain while positioning the country as a global hub for authentic chocolate experiences.
