The Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, marked Ghana Chocolate Day by promoting Made-in-Ghana chocolate on the floor of Parliament, highlighting its economic, cultural and job-creation benefits.
The Minister encouraged Ghanaians to intentionally consume locally produced chocolate to support farmers, empower women and young entrepreneurs, and retain value within the national economy. She also shared locally manufactured chocolate with Members of Parliament and parliamentary staff to deepen awareness of Ghana’s globally recognised cocoa and chocolate industry.

Ghana Chocolate Day remains a key national initiative aimed at boosting local chocolate consumption, strengthening value addition in the cocoa sector, and promoting pride in Ghana’s rich cocoa heritage.
