Hamamat Montia is set to be commissioned as 🇬🇠Ghana’s Tourism Ambassador for Shea Butter by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts. She’s been chosen for her pioneering work in the shea butter industry, particularly through her Shea Butter Museum, which she’s been running since 2006. Wiyaala, an award-winning musician, is also being engaged as a tourism ambassador to promote Ghana’s rich cultural heritage.

This move is part of efforts to leverage cultural influencers for tourism and showcase Ghana’s appeal globally. The Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, mentioned that promotional videos featuring these influencers will soon be ready.
