The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection held a staff Durbar as part of activities to mark the end of year, aimed at strengthening engagement between management and staff.
The durbar was attended by the Minister, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, who commended staff for their dedication and commitment in advancing the Ministry’s mandate.

Addressing staff, the Minister underscored the importance of teamwork, professionalism and integrity in achieving the Ministry’s objectives particularly in the areas of social protection, gender equality, and the protection of vulnerable populations. She encouraged staff to remain committed to excellence, noting that the Ministry’s impact on citizens largely depended on the collective effort and dedication of its workforce.

The Minister further called on staff to align their daily responsibilities with the Ministry’s vision on inclusive development that leaves no one behind, while assuring them of Management’s continued support in creating a conducive working environment.

The Chief Director, Dr. Afisah Zakariah also expressed appreciation to staff for their hardwork and resilience throughout the year. She urged staff to remain focused and committed to supporting the effective implementation of policies and programmes that improve the lives of Ghanaians.
The durbar provided an opportunity for staff to engage directly with Management through an open forum, during which issues, suggestions and concerns were discussed.
