A bold, new project to kick off 2026!
The European Union, Embassy of the Netherlands in Ghana, French Embassy in Ghana / Ambassade de France au Ghana, Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness & Industry, Motai- and the UN Capital Development Fund, have launched the EUR 17.3 million Green, Digital and Inclusive Private Sector Development (GDI PSD) Project!

The 4-year initiative will support a greener more digital and inclusive private sector, improving access to finance strengthening the business environment and boosting entrepreneurs’ capacity to adopt green and digital solutions.
Over 900 entrepreneurs will benefit, including at least 300 women-led businesses, with direct financial support for more than 200 businesses.

Speaking at the launch, EU Ambassador, H.E. Rune Skinnebach, reaffirmed Team Europe’s commitment towards creating green jobs and inclusive opportunities, especially for women and young people under the EU Global Gateway Strategy.

Led by Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry and implemented by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), Expertise France and UNCDF, the GDI PSD project will build, expand and scale up partnerships to drive innovation and resilience in Ghana’s circular and digital economy.
