President John Mahama has been graciously received at the Blue House by the President of South Korea, Lee Jae-Myung.

Ghana and the Republic of Korea have agreed to enhance our bilateral cooperation as President Mahama becomes the first African President to be hosted by President Lee Jae-Myung after his inauguration last year.
The two leaders held talks covering a wide range of interests including agribusiness, maritime security, AI, value addition for critical minerals, automotive manufacturing, infrastructure development including railways, chocolate production with Ghana’s cocoa, capacity building and trade.
Ghana and South Korea signed three strategic agreements in maritime security; science, technology and innovation and climate protection.
President Mahama has also extended an invitation to President Lee Jae-Myung as the two nations prepare to celebrate 50 years of formal bilateral relations in 2027.
We deeply cherish the outstanding progress in Ghana South Korea relations.
