In his address at the conference, NPP flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia called on candidates who won to reach out to their opponents and urged those who lost to continue contributing to the party. For the NPP, the conclusion of the conference marks another stage in its internal reorganisation as the party prepares for its activities leading towards the 2028 general elections.
The focus now shifts from competition to the performance of the new leadership—and how effectively it can build cohesion, strengthen the party’s structures and reconnect with Ghanaian voters.
