Ghana Gas inaugurates Ladies Club
March is a special month for Ghana  as we celebrate our independence and also join the world in recognising women through International Women’s Day. It is a time to celebrate the achievements of women while reflecting on the barriers that still limit their full participation in many sectors of society.
This year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” reminds us that when we support one another through mentorship, opportunity, and knowledge-sharing, everyone benefits. Giving is not a loss—it is multiplication. When women thrive, industries grow stronger and societies become more prosperous.

Across Ghana’s energy sector, women are making remarkable contributions in leadership, engineering, policy, and technical operations. Their dedication continues to shape the future of energy in Ghana and inspire the next generation of professionals.
As Ghana works to stabilise and transform its energy sector—improving power reliability, expanding electrification, and strengthening partnerships—women remain critical contributors to progress across the entire energy value chain.
The launch of the Ghana Gas Ladies Association is therefore a powerful step toward mentorship, collaboration, and empowerment. By supporting one another and investing in talent, we build stronger institutions, a stronger energy sector, and a stronger Ghana.
