The planning meeting between the Minister and members of Ghana’s delegation was convened to strategically coordinate Ghana’s participation in the 70th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70).
The meeting reviewed the priority theme of the session and aligned Ghana’s national priorities with global commitments to advancing gender equality and strengthening access to justice for women and girls.
In addition, the meeting enabled the delegation to clarify roles and responsibilities, identify priority advocacy issues, prepare for side events and bilateral engagements.
Furthermore, the meeting was held to ensure policy commitments in promoting inclusive and equitable legal systems for women and girls.
