Vice President Jane Naana Opokyu Agyemang has received a delegation of Queen Mothers from Ga Mashie, led by the Paramount Queen Mother of Jamestown (Ngleshie Alata), Her Majesty Naa Afipong IV.
They discussed critical social issues in Jamestown, especially education and sustainable livelihood opportunities. Her Majesty described ongoing efforts to tackle health problems in the community and shared plans for a mobile library project to promote after-school reading and literacy development. She also emphasized the need to expand vocational skills training to more young people and women.
