Rouble Nagi wins GEMS Education Teacher Global Prize

At the World Governments Summit in Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Sunny Varkey, Founder of the Varkey Foundation, announced Rouble Nagi of India as the winner of the tenth GEMS Education Global Teacher Prize.

A pioneering educator, Rouble Nagi has spent over two decades expanding access to education, establishing more than 800 learning centres across 100 of India’s most marginalised communities. Her work has helped bring over one million children into formal education, breaking down barriers of poverty, exclusion, and illiteracy.
