Achimota Primary School Class of 1977 Donates Furniture to Support School Development

The 1977 Year Group of Achimota Primary School has marked its 60th birthday celebration with a generous donation of 300 sets of tables and chairs to the school as part of its commitment to giving back to the institution that helped shape their lives.

The donation was officially presented and received by the Headmistress of Achimota Primary School, Mrs. Kyeremateng, together with the Achimota Primary School Alumni (APS) President, Mr. Dave Amankwa, on behalf of the school community.
Speaking at the event, the spokesperson for the planning committee, Mrs. Marina Kingsley-Nyinah, called on all alumni year groups to unite and support the continuous development of the school. She emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in sustaining the legacy of Achimota Primary School.

Mrs. Kingsley-Nyinah also highlighted that the current President of the Republic is an Akorette (old student of Achimota institutions) and appealed to him to extend his support to Achimota Primary School as part of efforts to enhance education and infrastructure development.
She thanked the Staff, Students, alumni groups, the present and past teachers … Aunties and Nannie’s Parents and all who supported the worthy initiative.
The Class of 1977 reaffirmed its commitment to contributing to the growth of the school and encouraged other alumni groups to emulate this gesture of goodwill.
