CEO Obuobia Darko-Opoku and friends have marked five years of the IGNITE Youth Empowerment Initiative.
On Sunday, Obuobia assembled her mentees to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Ignite Youth Empowerment Initiative amidst pome, pagentry and praise.
What is believed to have started with just five (5) mentees has grown into a community of more than 460 young ladies under her direct mentorship.
We are told the real works happens in the quite., not so much of the visible moments, the annual all-white gathering or the monthly “Under the Tree” sessions seen on Woezor TV.
Every single day, these young ladies are required to read a chapter from a selected book for the month. At exactly 7:00 pm daily, they meet online to share insights, perspectives, and notes.
We learn that this is done, ”religiously and there is accountability”.
The discipline, punctuality, and consistency with which these ladies approach personal development are admirable. This is leadership that is direct, deliberate, and deeply impactful.
