Lordina Foundation provides Health Care Screening to Senior Citizens Pastors of Assemblies of God

On Friday, 5th December 2025, the Lordina Foundation held its 5th quarterly free medical screening and treatment exercise for retired pastors, their spouses, and pastors’ widows of Assemblies of God, Ghana. The programme took place at Ringway Gospel Center, Osu, Accra, and was sponsored by the First Couple of Ghana—H.E. John Dramani Mahama and H.E. Mrs. Lordina Mahama—together with the Lordina Foundation.

The Founder and President of the Foundation, H.E. Mrs. Lordina Mahama, who is a committed member of Assemblies of God, Ghana, was in attendance, alongside the General Superintendent, Rev. Stephen Wengam.

Beneficiaries received medical screening, treatment, and medications, along with additional medical supplies expected to last four months. Each retiree also received a Christmas hamper containing fabric, rice, oil, tin tomatoes, indomie, and a cash gift, presented by the First Lady of Ghana.
In his remarks, Rev. Wengam expressed deep appreciation to the First Couple and the Lordina Foundation for their exceptional generosity. He noted that medical care for retirees is often a heavy financial burden, and this quarterly intervention has brought immense relief to the beneficiaries and the church.
The Board Chairman of the Foundation, Pastor Boateng Sarpong, reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to supporting the vulnerable in society.
