Following the passing of Musical Icon, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as , DADDY LUMBA on Sunday, July 26, 2025, many music lovers have been sharing condolences with his family and sharing memories of the late Musical Genuis.
For Presidential Hopeful and Entrepreneur, NANA KWAME BEDIAKO eulogized DADDY LUMBA as a legend who is gone but his voice would live on for generations to come.
”For over three decades, you fed our hearts with soul,
bathed our spirits in highlife, set our feet free with rhythm and groove”, Nana Kwame wrote in a statement.
Nana Kwame believes that Daddy Lumba captured Ghana’s Soul through and in Music.
He said of Daddy Lumba, ”You didn’t just make music, you made memories for a nation”…..”You gave Ghana a sound, a feeling, a reason to dance, a reason to believe”.
”You were and will remain a living legend. Though you may be gone in a flash, your voice will echo through generations, your soul lives on in every chorus, every melody, every heart that loved your music”, Nana Kwame Bediako posited.
