As part of her farewell engagements, Ambassador Virginia Palmer visited Tamale one final time before departing post.
She paid a courtesy call on the Northern Regional Minister Alhaji Ali Adolf G. John, engaged U.S. government-sponsored exchange program alumni, interacted with key development stakeholders, and dropped in for an interview at GBC’s Radio Savanna.
She also visited the remarkable Red Clay studio to see how the arts can inspire and be a catalyst for change. Her visit underscored the enduring partnership between the United States and the people of northern Ghana.
Ambassador Palmer has since departed post in Accra.
