Ghana has a new Country Director for the World Health Organization (WHO).
Dr. Fiona Braka presented her credentials to the Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa
”It’s been such a pleasant duty to officially receive the credentials of Dr. Fiona Braka which paves the way for her to begin her noble mandate in Ghana”, Mr. Ablakwa noted.
”I congratulate the distinguished public health expert and assure her of Ghana’s unwavering support”.
The foreign Affairs Minister expressed confidence in her work.
”We have high confidence in her capacity, track record and targets for Ghana”.
Mr. Ablakwa stated that, ”Ghana shall remain unflinchingly committed to multilateralism and will work with the WHO to achieve universal health coverage, health-related SDGs and the President’s vision for Mahama Cares and improved health outcomes”.
