Rebecca Ekpe urges Journalists to speak up on welfare matters

The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) was unable to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 due to a lack of quorum.

The GJA AGM initially scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, was rescheduled to Wednesday, April 2, 2025, due to the Eid-ul Fitr festivity.

The Association’s President, Albert Dwumfour, expressed concern over the low turnout and urged members to take keen interest in the AGM.

In an interview with GBC NEWS, the GJA Public Affairs Officer, Rebecca Ekpe, described the situation as unfortunate entreating Journalists to actively participate in issues that affect their well-being, given their critical role in consolidating Ghana’s democracy.
