President John Dramani Mahama has taken an official visit to France on Monday, 6 April 2026, at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron. During the visit, President Mahama will attend the 2026 One Health Summit in Lyon, after which he will hold bilateral talks with President Macron at the Elysée Palace in Paris:

President Mahama, the founder and driving force behind the Accra Reset Initiative, will co-chair the High-Level segment of the One Health Summit with President Macron on Tuesday. The Summit convenes world leaders, health ministers, and global health experts to discuss pressing issues related to global health systems, sustainable food production, and joint strategies to address health challenges.
