President John Mahama commits to free and thriving Press

In his 120 days of his new term, some Political experts say President Mahama has made significant strides in governance, economy, education, and social welfare, though several pledges remain in progress or are yet to be initiated.

On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, President John Dramani Mahama is wishing all Ghanaian journalists and others across the globe, a Happy World Press Freedom Day.

The president commended the dedication and resilience of journalists and media professionals. Urging them to Continue to uphold the highest standards of journalistic integrity, fostering informed public discourse, and contributing to a stronger, and more vibrant Ghana.

He advised journalists to work together to enhance democracy through truth, accuracy, and ethical reporting, ensuring a free and responsible press that empowers citizens and strengthens the nation. Mahama pledged that President his government will continue to work towards a free and thriving media space in Ghana.
