More than a football night, the event was a celebration of friendship and the deepening bonds between two great nations .
Dressed in the colours of both nations, guests brought an energy that filled the garden of the residence with warmth, pride and passion, setting the tone for the beautiful friendly between friends
German Ambassador Mr. Frederik Landshoeft, in his remarks, spoke to the deeper meaning of the evening. He highlighted how sport embodies the very principles that underpin German Ghanaian cooperation: competition within clear rules, respect for fairness, and recognition of performance .
The watch party drew a high-profile and diverse crowd, including members of the diplomatic community, Germans living in Ghana, our Ghanaian partners and celebrated music artists such as Wendy Shay, Stonebwoy, and Okyeame Kwame, former Black Stars Legend Anthony Baffoe, Former German European Champion, Petra Landers and some social media personalities .
Prior to the viewing, young players from some promising football development programmes including BVB International Academy Ghana, Gerald Asamoah Football Academy, Faces of Football, Football in Your Life, and students from the German International School Accra and PASCH schools participated in training sessions and football activities .
