Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Foreign Affairs Minister exemplified good governance and bipartisan cooperation by inviting the newly formed Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs last Thursday.
The meeting focused on fostering collaboration between the Ministry and Parliament to enhance Ghana’s foreign policy objectives. Hon. Ablakwa emphasized his commitment to transparency, open-door policies, and parliamentary oversight. He welcomed strict scrutiny, recognizing its importance in a functioning democracy.
During the meeting, Mr. Ablakwa also congratulated the newly selected MPs on their appointment to the esteemed committee.
He said he ”looks forward to engaging in vibrant discussions and diligent oversight, ultimately serving the national interest”’.
