30 years after Madam Irene Naa Torshie Addo-Lartey was called to the bar, her daughter, Samantha Addo, has also been called to the Bar in London yesterday, March 24, 2026.
Samantha had her basic and secondary education at the Ghana International School (GIS) and proceeded to Cats Canterbury in London for her sixth form education. She then enrolled at the University of Birmingham where she studied law.
She completed the Bar Professional Training Course and was called into Gray’s Inn.
Her mother, Irene Naa Torshie Addo, who once served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and is the immediate past former Administrator of the District Assembly Common Fund.
