Ghana’s hospitality sector is set for a new wave of growth as the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, charged the newly sworn-in executives of the Ghana Hotels Association to drive innovation, competitiveness, and improved service delivery.
With international tourist arrivals surpassing 1.1 million and generating over $3.8 billion, the Minister emphasized the need to maximize value per visitor through better experiences, digital transformation, and workforce development. Government also reaffirmed support through initiatives like the Black Star Experience.

Incoming President Victor Minta pledged inclusive, results-driven leadership, outlining plans to boost industry visibility, establish a credit union, and promote dialogue through a leadership summit.
The ceremony also highlighted the importance of promoting Ghanaian culture in hospitality spaces and recognized the contributions of outgoing executives.
