During the inspecting of the DRIP machines in the Obuasi East and West Municipal assemblies, the National Coordinator, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, was unhappy with the mode of storage of the infrastructure. He urged the assemblies to urgently provide sheds for the DRIP Machines.
He also criticized the lack of proper care for the machines and admonished the new operators and district coordinators to change the narrative on maintenance culture.
He queried the district coordinating directors and the road engineers because most of the machines were not properly washed after their usage before being parked for months.
He ordered the officials to immediately take all unwashed DRIP Machines to the washing bay. The National Coordinator was accompanied by the Deputy Director General of NADMO, Samuel Aboagye, and ING. Danquah, the Ashanti regional liaison of J.A Plant Pool.
