Namibian Rep in Ghana bids Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman farewell

The Outgoing Namibian High Commissioner to Ghana, Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, who has been appointed to serve in Namibia’s cabinet as the Minister for International Relations and Trade, was at the Office of the Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang to bid her farewell.
The Namibian High Commissioner conveyed warm greetings from the President of Namibia, Her Excellency Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. Ghana and Namibia are committed to mutual respect and cooperation within the West African and Southern African regions.
The Vice President recalled my visits to Namibia on two memorable occasions, both of which underscored the ties between our countries, she noted.
”We discussed the opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and the importance of leveraging our strengths, sharing our expertise, and adding value to our local products”, she stated.
The conversation also touched on the importance of solidarity among women in leadership, and the need to support one another in our efforts to shape inclusive and forward-looking national and continental agendas.
Professor Naana Opoku Agyemang  wished the Outgoing High Commissioner, Ashipala-Musavyi a safe journey and every success as she returns home to take up her new role in service of her country.
