The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva has led the IMF delegation in discussions with the European Commission on the importance of our partnership amid heightened global uncertainty.

She said the EU remains a key IMF partner and the second-largest supporter of our capacity development work—strengthening macroeconomic and financial stability in emerging and low-income countries.

”This would not be possible without the leadership and commitment of Commissioners Marta Kos, Jozef Sikela, Dubravka Suica, and their teams. Our priorities align, and we look forward to deepening this partnership”, Kristalina Georgieva noted.
