Highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena has paid tribute to the late music legend Daddy Lumba, describing him as a father figure, mentor, and irreplaceable icon in Ghana’s music industry.
Speaking on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, Kwabena Kwabena shared emotional memories of Lumba’s guidance, including advice that still drives him: “You’re only as good as your last hit.”
He recalled how Lumba guided him even from afar during studio sessions, calling him a rare mentor and perfectionist. “We’ve truly lost a great treasure,” he added.
