Jamaica is ready to receive nurses and teachers from Ghana under a special bilateral partnership.
Foreign Affairs Minister, Okudzeto Ablakwa made the announcement in a post.
He said, ”Ghana and Jamaica have also agreed to hold high level political consultations to deepen our cooperation in trade, education, agribusiness, tourism, cultural and sports exchange”.
This agreement follows a meeting with Senator Johnson Smith, Mr. Ablakwa noted.
”An immensely successful meeting with my counterpart, Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith (MP) when we met on the margins of the OACPS summit in Brussels.”.
He said, ”Ghana and Jamaica are set to expand the frontiers of our inseparable historical relations”.
