Iftar at the Presidency- President Mahama calls for peaceful co-existence in Ghana
I joined His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House for the 2026 Presidential Iftar Dinner. We stand with our Muslim brothers and sisters during the sacred month of Ramadan, a period of reflection, introspection, and spiritual renewal.

The gathering reminded us that this period is an opportunity to draw closer to Allah, deepen empathy for those in need, and reaffirm our shared responsibility to care for the vulnerable. We acknowledge the National Chief Imam, His Eminence Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, for his enduring leadership and contributions to peace and interfaith harmony in Ghana. We also commend the Muslim community for the important role they continue to play in the country’s development.
As we break the fast together, we renew our commitment to protecting the peace and stability Ghana enjoys, and we pray that Allah accepts our prayers and blesses our nation.
