President John Dramani Mahama accompanied by the First Lady, Mrs Lordina Dramani Mahama was seen off by His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema, President of the Republic of Zambia, and the First Lady, Mrs Mutinta Hichilema, at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Lusaka.

The farewell marked the successful conclusion of President Mahama’s three-day State Visit to Zambia, which culminated in the signing of ten (10) Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and further strengthened bilateral cooperation between Ghana and Zambia across key strategic sectors.

Government Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has since indicated that one big success of the Zambia Trip is the soring and demand in Fugu sales in Ghana, following the social media buzz that generated from Zambia as President Mahama wore this traditional attire that generated a debate about Gen Zs and Metzen’s who felt the Fufu was a ”blouse”.
