The President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Mr. Albert Kwabena Dwumfour has renewed calls for justice in the murder of investigative journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale, during a press conference held at the Ghana International Press Center in Accra.

He acknowledged the recent arrest of one Koranteng, a suspect in the case, but urged the current IGP to ”provide regular updates and briefings on the case to the GJA and to citizens”.
Mr. Albert Kwabena Dwumfour urged the Ghana Police Service and relevant state authorities to intensify efforts in bringing the perpetrators to book. He further emphasized the need for stronger protection for journalists and a safer working environment to ensure that no journalist fears for their life because of their work.
He concluded by stating that the GJA stands in solidarity with the family of Ahmed Suale and the wider media fraternity, and will continue to push for truth, accountability, and justice.
