Ghana’s Vice President holds talks with Norwegian delegation

Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has held a meeting with H.E. Ingrid Mollestad, Ambassador of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Ghana, Åsmund Grøver Aukrust, Norway’s Minister of International Development, and their team. They offered their congratulations and touched on the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Ghana and Norway.
The team also discussed matters relating to security and how instability in multilateral relations can lead to insecurities at the bilateral level.
The meeting also examined the root causes of conflicts that threaten national and regional stability.
The Vice President stressed the need for Ghana to take ownership of her resources and explained that ”our cultural values encourage us to prioritize future generations”.
The Vice President and the Norwegian delegation explored the importance of creating spaces for people to evolve naturally within society.
”We must address our challenges through a broader, collective approach that values diverse perspectives”, Prof. Naana Opoku Agyemang noted.
