The meeting, held Friday, April 24, 2026 in Greater Seattle in Washington State, forms part of a broader diplomatic and economic strategy by the Embassy of Ghana in Washington to attract cutting-edge technology partnerships, expand digital infrastructure, and equip Ghana’s workforce with 21st-century skills.

Ambassador Smith described the discussions as “insightful and encouraging,” noting a strong alignment between Ghana’s national priorities and Microsoft’s global expertise in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digital capacity building.
