Ghana and Türkiye Strengthen Trade Ties at Business Forum in Accra

The Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, attended the Türkiye-Ghana Business Forum at the Accra Marriott Hotel, an event aimed at strengthening trade relations between the two nations.
The forum, part of the World Cooperation Industries (WCI) Forum, brought together over 50 Turkish manufacturers and exporters to explore business opportunities in construction, agriculture, textiles, healthcare, and industrial goods. Discussions focused on boosting bilateral trade, which has already reached $888 million, with projections to surpass $1 billion by 2027.
Türkiye, known for its advanced manufacturing and global market access, has been deepening its economic ties with Ghana, supplying machinery, transport equipment, and textiles, while Ghana exports gold and cocoa beans.
The Minister’s participation underscores Ghana’s commitment to expanding trade partnerships and fostering sustainable economic collaboration.
