The Data Protection Commission (DPC) has announced the relocation of its offices from East Legon to a new and more centrally accessible location at the former Information Services Department premises, situated opposite the Accra City Campus of the University of Ghana.
According to a statement issued by the Commission and signed by the Head of Corporate Affairs, the relocation will take effect from Monday, October 20, 2025. The move is part of efforts to enhance accessibility, improve service delivery, and strengthen engagement with the public and key stakeholders within Ghana’s data protection ecosystem.
The DPC emphasized that the strategic relocation aligns with its mission to promote and enforce personal data protection in Ghana while ensuring closer interaction with individuals and organizations under its regulatory framework.
“All correspondence, official visits, and inquiries should henceforth be directed to the new address,” the statement said. However, the Commission noted that its contact numbers, email addresses, and digital service platforms remain unchanged.
The Commission expressed appreciation to the public for its continued cooperation and assured that operations will proceed smoothly from the new premises.
