Czech-Ghana Business Cooperation Seminar in Accra

President John Mahama has asked Czech investors to join Ghana’s transformative agenda for mutual benefit. He said government’s bold and visionary 24 HR economy policy has positioned Ghana as the preferred choice for doing business.

President Mahama told the Czech-Ghana Business Cooperation Seminar in Accra, that Ghana is ready for strategic partnerships in key areas such as health, agriculture and automobile, stressing that the Africa Continental Free Trade Area presents numerous opportunities for businesses to thrive.

President Mahama, said government is streamlining its business regulations to attract more investors and partnerships with the Small and Medium-Scale Enterprises, SMEs especially as the country seeks to diversify its non-traditional exports. He also announced that Ghana will soon open trade and investment forum in Prague in the course of the year, adding, that efforts are underway to finalize the MOU between Ghana and the Czech Republic on Trade Cooperation to enhance trade and investment between them.

The Czech President, Petr Pavel, expressed his country’s readiness to improve the trade balance between the two countries.
