National Petroleum Authority insists adherence to price adjustments is key to market stability

The National Petroleum Authority, NPA has increased the minimum fuel price floors for petroleum products for the February 16 to 28, 2026 pricing window.
With new adjustments, petrol will sell at a minimum of 10 Cedis 24 pesewas per litre, up from 9 Cedis 99 pesewas in the previous window. Diesel has also been raised from 10 Cedis 95 pesewas to 11 Cedis 34 pesewas per litre, while LPG will now sell at a minimum of 9 Cedis 43 pesewas per kilogram.
All Oil Marketing Companies, OMCs and LPG Marketing Companies are enjoined to strictly comply with the approved price floors. The Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies, COMAC is encouraging its members to strictly adhere to the Petroleum Products Pricing Guidelines, explaining that adherence is important to ensure market stability and protect consumers.
The price floors exclude other industry margins and premiums, which are determined independently by companies.
