Zambian President, Hakainde Hichilema has noted that, ”Ghana is a strategic peer to Zambia, and together we are working to turn the visions of our founding fathers Kenneth Kaunda Kaunda and Kwame Nkrumah, into practical economic outcomes”.

He noted that, ”at a time of shifting geopolitics, strong African bilateral cooperation is both essential and urgent”.
Africa has no choice than to look inwards.

According to the Zambian President, ”we must move from frameworks to implementation, delivering quick and visible results. Zambia is ready to facilitate investment, remove bottlenecks and provide full political support”.
Ghana’s President John Mahama was on an official visit to Zambia, where, he and the Zambia Leader Hakainde Hichilema held talks.
These conversations focused on trade, investment and on addressing the high cost of capital that constrains Africa’s infrastructure, industrialisation and social development.
